Mother's Day Weekend was spent in Mont Belvieu with Eric's family. We had a really nice visit. First, on Saturday Cindy and I went to a Mother/Daughter tea & luncheon at her church. The food was great and I really enjoyed visiting with Cindy and with Pastor Bonnie. When we got home, Jared, Amber, Uf & Max (two mini-schnauzers) came over to visit and grub down on some shrimp and craw-fish. Evan sure enjoyed visiting with Nanny & PawPaw and Uncle Jared & Aunt Amber, etc. Max wasn't quite sure what to do about Evan and he would jump up on Evan and knock him down. Max (white schnauzer) also terrorized Lilo. He would chase her around the living room repeatedly because he wanted to play and Lilo was just being a big wussy. Evan loved feeding the fish in Nanny's pond and would do it repeatedly if allowed to. We were a little afraid he'd fall right on, but luckily that didn't happen.

I always tend to be the picture taker in the family so it was nice that Eric and Cindy both got pictures of me with Evan. I think he kind of looks like me. :0) I mean, I know he's his father's son, but here's hoping he got some of my attributes......he definitely got my temper. He can be a sassy little boy. We tend to argue about who's being sassy. I'll say "quit being sassy" and he'll say "no tell me I'm sassy." He's even accused me of being sassy.....ME! :0)

Evan also enjoyed running around in the back yard, since it's so huge. He was very helpful too. On top of feeding the fish, he also helped PawPaw water his garden.

Cindy was able to get all of us together for a photo.....sons, grandson, daughter-in-law, son's girlfriend and all 3 of her grand-dogs. It kind of looks like I'm strangling Lilo in the picture. ;0)

It was a really great Mother's Day for me, and hopefully for Cindy too. We had such a nice time in Mt. Belvieu.
